Beacon Engineer
Sorin is a Beacon Engineer at RocketFin, working with the firm's London team on high-performance quantitative and risk solutions for global capital-markets clients. He brings 15+ years of experience as a quantitative developer and software engineer, specialising in Python, C# .NET and cloud-based architectures across fixed income and equities.
Before joining RocketFin, Sorin founded and ran Quantum Grid S.R.L, delivering financial solutions — ETL pipelines, risk and P&L tools, and workflow automation built on Python, Django, Snowflake, Docker and Kubernetes — for clients including Brevan Howard, FinCad and Numerix. Earlier he was a Rates & Equities Developer at Natixis Securities Japan, where he pioneered Agile development practices and developed trade automation across rates and equities desks.
Sorin combines strong technical depth with full-lifecycle delivery and Agile practice, and is known for building scalable, reliable solutions end-to-end.
